Bord Cadre films is a cinema production company, established in Geneva, Switzerland since 2004, specialized in the development and production of fiction films for cinema.

The company was created by Dan Wechsler and Laurent Nègre aiming at the development, and production of an original cinema, focusing on the points of view of a new generation of Swiss and European cinema directors.

Since its creation, Bord Cadre films Since its creation, Bord Cadre films has initiated and maintained solid relationships with partners both in and out of Switzerland and emphasizes international co-production.

At present Bord Cadre films is developing five feature films, two of which are adapted from literature and three are original scripts.

© Carole Parodi An Independent producer since 2003 , Dan Wechsler holds a degree in business management from the School of Economics in Lausanne (Hautes Études Commerciales) and has worked as a manager for several companies including Swatchgroup, Christie’s Intl and Citibank.

In 2003, he was admitted to the European Mega Media program and completed his studies at Eurimages under the auspices of the Council of Europe. He is a graduate from the European Media Business School (European Master in Audiovisual Management, 2003) and from the European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs program, 2007 (EAVE 2007).

In 2004, he and ind his partner, Laurent Nègre, found the company Bord Cadre films Sàrl and lauches his first feature film «fragile».

© Carole Parodi Whithin Bord Cadre films, Laurent Nègre reads and analyses subjects and scripts, proposing those suitable for development.

Born in 1973, Laurent Nègre is a young Swiss author and director. Graduated in 2002 from the cinema section at the Ecole Supèrieure des Beaux Arts de Genève, he has gathered considerable experience in cinema and publicity in Switzerland and Spain (where he worked for 3 years with Cinembargo Films).

He has assisted in direction and directed several short fims and made a well noticed entry in 2003 with his short film «Schenglet®», a real festival winner. Active in several projects in and out of Switzerland, he has specialized in script writing and development and has directed «fragile» in 2005, his first fiction feature film, distributed in cinema theaters and rewarded with the Swiss Cinema prize in 2006.

Laurent Nègre has been selected on several occasions for participation in international development workshops including Vision / Focal, Coproduction Forum of Namur, EAVE, Equinoxe and Grand Nord.
